A whole book on a poster? Is the text even legible?
Yes, hard as it may be to believe, each one of our designs contains the full text of the book. Where there are shapes in the design, the words wrap to the edges rather than being removed or shaded. The apparent font size is roughly 4 point which is perfectly legible with the naked eye if you have 20/20 vision, or with light magnification if you don't.

How big are these things?
Most of our posters are either 100 x 70cm or 84cm x 119cm (A0 size) depending on the size of the book. It is clearly mentioned in the description of each poster.

Do you supply prints framed?
Framing a print / poster is a personal thing so we would prefer to leave the framing decision with you! The cost of posting the large framed poster to wherever you are in Australia (or abroad) from Melbourne would also make your eyes water as freight is based on cubic space and not weight, so the most cost effective way of doing all of this for you it to just provide the poster.

Having said that, the 700 x 500mm and 700 x 1000mm size posters can all fit the Ikea RIBBA frame series available at all Ikea stores globally so that is an easy, cost effective option for all. Alternatively, these two sizes are very standard and will be available at all framing shops who sell ready made frames and retailers such a Target, Myer etc. The 1189 x 841mm size is a traditional A0 size and all good framing shops will be able to either create a bespoke frame for you or perhaps even sell ready made frames for this size. ** Please note that if you take it to a framers for them to frame for you they should spray mount the poster using an adhesive spray not a past on glue as it will damage the poster. **

What is the print quality like?

Our posters are printed on 200gsm, satin finish paper with state-of-the-art printing technology. The text is pin-sharp and the paper non-reflective so you can hang and light it exactly as you wish.

We have new designs coming all the time. If you have a specific book you'd like to see please fill out the contact form and we'll do our best to make it happen for you. Please note though that we legally require the publishing rights to be able to re-print the text so if it is a well known classic title chances are we will already be in the process of trying to obtain those publishing rights!

And just to let you know (as they are requested more than once a week!) sadly, at this time, we are unable to produce 'To Kill a Mockingbird' by Harper Lee, which is a shame as it is possibly the most requested title we get! We hope that one day this may change but right now the respective publishing houses have declined our request to obtain the publishing rights to re-print in this way and we not going to start re-printing illegally!

I have written my own book or know someone who has and woud like to see it created as a Spineless Classics poster! Is this possible? Yes, absolutely! What a wonderful gift to surprise a budding author! We will just need to know the following details from you in order to put a quote together for you:

- how many words in the complete text (this will determine the size of the poster)

- do you already have an image in mind that you would like to use? 

- how many copies of the poster would you like? 

Once we get the go-ahead from you it is normally about a 1 month turn around which includes design, approval process, print and delivery.
